Bolivian Police Does A Professional Sketch
News Update: Believe it or not, the Bolivian police actually found the suspect drawn in the sketch. Due to Bolivian laws. His real face can not be shown to the media because he is under age.

Well, this is embarrassing.
It happens that there is this video on the internet that shows a sketch of a killer made by Bolivian police in graph paper. The funny thing is that it doesn't look like the sketches we are used to see on TV, it looks like it was drawn by a 5 year old kid. But, what surprises me is that they showed this on Bolivian TV. What were they thinking? Beside that, they try to sell the story with this tragic background music. When I first saw the video I thought it was a joke, but then I realized it was on the news and they were being serious. Here is the video.

Alternate Sources Energy
With all the climate changes we are experiencing in our planet, mankind has become aware of the importance of keeping the environment green and clean.
One of the solutions we have found is using other types of energy that don't destroy the environment and are a better than Fossil Fuels.
The Fossil Fuels are depleting due to it's exaggerated use, it is in our hands to stop its dependency that has been damaging the environment.
What would happen if we don't act on time to prevent the deterioration of the environment? Under what conditions will the future generations find the planet?
Thankfully some scientists have committed in finding new sources to create clean energy such as:
-Wind Energy
-Solar Energy definition. Solar Energy facts
-Natural Gas
-Bio Fuels
-Nuclear Energy
-Hydroelectric Energy
There are many companies that are employing these alternate forms of clean energy, the media is also playing an important role in educating the community about the benefits of green energy, showing us how to save energy and keep the environment clean.
It is our responsibility to save the planet and keep it clean for the next generations to come. I just can't imagine a future with a polluted planet, with water and food depleted. That would lead to more wars and bringing destruction to ourselves. Looking at it, this way makes me wonder, will the wars in the future be about water of food? I hope not. I hope we are not late to change.
We have to commit to protect the environment by keeping it clean without polluting it, saving energy and using the water without wasting it. It is a matter of time before we get used to living green. We have to be Green friendly.
One good example of living green is saving paper. Instead of having the bank print and sending you a paper statement, you should opt to paperless statement that are sent to your email, planting a tree or turn the lights and appliances off when are not needed. I don't consider myself an expert in the matter, but I am aware of how important it is to save energy and the use of other sources of energy. I just want to spread the message and do my part to make this planet greener. So everyone creates awareness of this important topic that affects all of us. Before you waste energy or pollute, think about it. How are we going to live in the future? The choice is yours.

The Symphony of Science:
According to Wikipedia. The Symphony of Science is a music project created by Washington-based electronic musician John Boswell. The project seeks to "spread scientific knowledge and philosophy through musical remixes." Boswell uses pitch corrected audio and video samples from television programs featuring popular scientists and educators. The audio and video clips are mixed into digital mashups and scored with Boswell's original compositions. Two of Boswell's music videos, "A Glorious Dawn" and "We are All Connected", feature appearances from Carl Sagan, Richard Feynman, Neil deGrasse Tyson, Bill Nye, and Stephen Hawking. The audio and video is sampled from popular science television shows including Cosmos, The Universe, The Eyes of Nye, The Elegant Universe, and Stephen Hawking's Universe.[1]

This video was taken at my home where I was showing off my display of a levitating water illusion. I can see that people are interested in how it is done...
The concept of strobing pulsating water to allow one to see drops rise, hover, and fall at different rates, is not new. MIT's legendary Harold "Doc" Edgerton used strobes to illuminate an unseen world of fabulous images (bullet striking an apple, balloon bursting, drop of milk splashing, etc.).
We have taken this principle and applied to a perceptual illusion known as the wagon wheel illusion. When one watches a spoked wheel turn on an old western movie, it appears to rotate in the opposite direction to its true rotation.
Here, we pulse the water extremely fast (you can't see the individual drops), but with a strobe (at the right frequency) they become "visible." Adjusting the frequency and valve rate you can get different effects. You assume that it is the "same" drop going down/up/hovering, etc., but it isn't. Your brain just groups it that way. The water is ALWAYS going down. Not shown on this video is the cool trick of filling a clear glass, while drops "magically" appear to rise out of the glass.
Yes, it is a very cool effect, lots of fun, and we have issued patents on creating this effect.
