History of Earthquakes in Chile

Chile currently holds the record of the most earthquakes in the world. The biggest ever recorded was in Chile 9.5 magnitude in May 1960. Killing 1655, 3000 injured and about 2 million were made homeless. And in the month of January 2010 there was one on a smaller scale of 5.1.

Let's hope other countries help Chile the same way they are helping Haiti.

An earthquake of 8.5 strucked Chile tonight. The epicenter was near the Chilean capital of Santiago. It is unknown the number of victims. A Tsunami warning was issued by officials, they think it might affect the west coast of Chile, Perú and Ecuador.
Let's hope there is a minimal amount of victims.

Apparently this killer whale has a past of drowning people in different occasions. I wonder why Sea World kept going on with this whale's show. They really need to reevaluate the safety procedures with this type of animals.
