40 Years after Apollo 11


A day like today in 1969 NASA sent a crew of astronauts to the Moon. Being Neil Armstrong the first one to walk on them Moon, saying the famous quote "One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind" he got inmortalized for this quote. Now NASA is preparing to visit the Moon again.
Neil Armstrong said in a press conference that he would love to see a mission to Mars, this planet has always fascinated him.

Apollo 11 In Pictures

On July 16th 1969, the mission Apollo 11 landed on the moon, bringing humans for the first time ever on the moon, carrying Neil Armstrong, Michael Collins, Edwin Eugene 'Buzz' Aldrin, Jr.
Being Armstrong and Aldrin the first humans to walk on the moon.
