Page One Restaurant Review

Location:- Page One Restaurant

The Experience:

Page One Restaurant is conveniently located in the heart of Glen Cove. If you've never been to Glen Cove, its a beautiful town that feels like home. We were immediately greeted when we walked in. Chef Jeaninie came over and introduced herself, which I think is great because she doesn't just stay behind the scenes, she walks around the restaurant to say "Hi" and see how everyone is doing. I think that adds on to the reasons why people come back, because they are treated so well at Page One.

The Food:

We decided to get the sampler for our appetizer because that the best way to see what Page One is all about. My first impression was the beautiful plating. It wasn't just food put on a plate and served, which I'm not bashing if its good food, but Chef Jeanine illustrates that she is a culinary artist. The server was nice enough to take the time to point out which appetizer was which. I absolutely loved the Firecracker Wonton Shrimp Martini and the Floribbean Coconut Crusted Shrimp. As for our entrees, we tried Southwestern Catfish, the Spring Rack of Lamb, and the Onion Crusted Chicken. I loved the black bean chili and the avocado salsa that accompanied the catfish. Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection. What I like about Chef Jeanine's menu is that the dishes vary in the type on cuisine. For example, Cuban Style Roast Pork, Roast Hawaiian Duck, Thai Seared Salmon Ponzu, Greek Lamb Souvlaki, and etc.

Unfortunately, we ran out of room for dessert. That might have to be another blog because I definitely have to go back for the Firecracker Wonton Shrimp Martini and the Floribbean Coconut Crusted Shrimp.

Entrees range from $16.95- 27.95

My sole complaint about this restaurant, is that the name on the restaurant need to be bigger, so that it isn't overlooked.
